dPhantom

The dPhantom is designed to assess and identify irregularities or distortion within magnetic resonance imaging machines. Distortion is commonly caused by the non-linear nature of the magnetic flux lines.
    

The unique leak-proof unibody nylon construction features a precise internal orthogonal 3 dimensional lattice. When imaged, the grid like structure provides excellent image contrast for effective distortion identification.

Evamed has produced a low cost, accurate Distortion phantom for the medical industry which we belie to be a superior alternative to traditional perspex MRI Phantoms.

The dPhantom can be filled with fluids promoting background signal generation to better simulate distortions due to magnetic susceptibility and chemical shifts. 

Indexing grooves on the dPhantoms surface allow the device to be accurately situated within the MRI machine in both the X, Y and Z axis using the laser alignment cross-hairs.
