02 / ACCURATE
At Polymed Technologies, we produce non-toxic, patient-matched electron shields with exceptional accuracy. Manufactured using 3-part compression tooling at up to 5 tonnes of force and precision-cut with waterjet technology to within 250 microns, each shield meets the highest standards of quality. Our process is backed by high-grade metrology tools and rigorous quality control—ensuring every shield meets clinical requirements.
03 / COST EFFECTIVE
Our electron shields use a tungsten carbide composite—eliminating the need for toxic LMPA mould rooms. We recycle the shields after use, reducing costs while supporting sustainability. By outsourcing shield production to us, hospitals save on equipment, labour, and compliance overhead, freeing radiation therapists to focus on patient care and helping facilities meet stringent safety and environmental standards.
